Open at last!

Usually at Beaucette we prefer talking about how we can help our many guests and visitors to the marina and restaurant get the most out of their stay. But since this is the first blog from Beaucette CamperVans, we thought it might be in order to say a few words about how we got to our official opening day, which was held over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

And what a rollercoaster it’s been!

For years, visitors to our marina have asked whether other family or friends could bring campers to the island and, sadly, the answer was always No. The laws of Guernsey simply didn’t allow caravans or motorhomes to be used here.

Happily, that has now changed and we have created an architect-designed, modern site that can welcome up to eight vans at any one time and share our – and we don’t think we’re being biased here – truly jaw-dropping views of the other islands and excellent facilities with those of you who don’t have boats.

It’s been a lot of work for Marina Manager Ricky Stephens and the rest of the team but they’re happy (ahem) to say that they enjoyed every moment of it!

We did have an excellent opening party, though, where they and a wide range of invited guests were able to sample Beaucette CamperVan’s hopefully by now legendary hospitality and let their hair down a bit.

In the meantime, welcome to Beaucette CamperVans and do please have a browse through our website, where there’s lots of information about what we and the islands have to offer in making your break extra special.

Feel free also to sign up for our regular newsletter, where you’ll get the first option on our special offers and promotions, before they are publicised elsewhere, and so always be up to date with developments here and on the island.

Finally, please remember that with our 50-year pedigree in hospitality, our welcome is one you can rely on
